Biography
J P Kushwaha did Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India in 2011, and was appointed as Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, in May, 2011. He has served the Department of Chemical Engineering as co-ordinator of project semester and PG programme. J P Kushwaha has published 23 peer reviewed research papers and two book chapters. Currently, his H- index is 11 with 611 citations.

Description of Research Interests
Research interests of J P Kushwaha are in industrial wastewater treatment by both physico-chemical and biological methods including coagulation/flocculation, adsorption and advanced oxidation processes (Electro-catalytic oxidation). His research interest is also in separation processes, especially in Liquid-Liquid extraction and extractive distillation using green solvents
