Biography:

Dr. Abhisek Pal is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, India. Apart from teaching regular courses on Electrical Machines and Drives, he is actively involved in Research and Development work. His current research interests include electric vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles, power converters, industrial drives and other aspects of electrical machine drives. Presently, Dr. Pal is a Member of IEEE.

Education:

  1. Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad in 2021.
  2. M. Tech. in Power Electronics and Drives from Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College in 2012.
  3. B. Tech. in Electrical Engineering from Birbhum Institute of Engineering & Technology in 2010.
